    • Check the provisions of the AOA regarding the procedure for changing the company name.
    • Convene a director’s board meeting to pass a resolution approving the change of name.
    • Apply for name availability and reservation by filing Form INC-1 (Application for Reservation of Name) with the RoC.
    • File Form INC-24 (Application for Approval of Central Government for Change of Name) with the RoC.

    • The RoC will review and process the filing, and upon successful approval, the company name will be changed.

    1.At least a year has passed since the last name change.

    2.The new name must represent at least 50% of the company’s total revenue in the past one year, or the investment in the new activity/business must be at least the company property 50%.

    3.The updated name, its previous name should appear in the concerned stock exchanges/websites where the company is continuously listed for one year from the date of last name change.
